I don't think I'm the only one who has fallen in love with cables!
As part of my new Winter Warmth Collection of crochet patterns, I published the Dreaming of the Slopes Hat. This unique hat has several cables running up it, plus a pom-pom on top.
The cables really stand out when crocheted with a solid yarn color. This hat was crocheted with Mountain Meadow Wool Mill worsted weight Laramie yarn in medium Natural Grey.
You can change yarn colors out randomly while creating the cables to add some uniqueness!
They're beautiful, but do cables scare you?? No problem! I've created a short crochet tutorial video to get you started on your cables.
The Dreaming of the Slopes Hat crochet pattern can be found on Little Monkeys Design, and on my Etsy, Ravelry, and Craftsy shops - links at top of blog post.
Looking for other crochet tutorial videos? I have several on my YouTube Channel.
Craftsy is also a great place to take classes - crochet, baking, photography, knitting, and more! They have a class for everything! Craftsy also has a great yarn store if you are looking for some fun yarn to use to crochet your new cable stitch hat pattern! ;)

I don't know about you, but that pie looks like a Thanksgiving winner to me!
