It's spring, finally! Time to put away the hat and scarf patterns.
What's next? Baby Blankets!
Babies are born all year round, but we seem to get especially excited to crochet baby blankets in the spring. Maybe we are just tired of the cold and hats and scarves remind us of the cold weather!
This Modern Color Block blanket pattern makes a large baby blanket that is perfect for a crib blanket and will transition well into toddlerhood size.
In the pattern I give you instructions on how to increase or decrease the size of the blanket so that you can make it newborn size thru dorm size!
The colors and how easy this pattern is are what I like best! I had planned on listing this finished blanket on my Etsy shop in addition to the pattern, but no one in my house would let me! They are all claiming it for themselves.
If you would like a custom made Modern Color Block blanket, please email me.
I crocheted the blanket out of I Love This Yarn by Hobby Lobby in colors of Rosy Cheeks, Greymist, Old Rose, and Greybeard. The colors can easily be changed out to be more masculine or even unisex.
The crochet pattern for this Modern Color Block Blanket can be found on my Etsy, Craftsy, and Ravelry shops.
